Year-Over-Year Comparison Reflects Growth Trend
PARSIPPANY, NJ (August 2, 2001) – ERA Franchise Systems LLC continued steady growth in the first and second quarters of 2001, tallying a 139 percent increase in franchise sales through June 30, 2001 compared to the same period last year.
Franchise sales results are measured by the annual Gross Closed Commissions (GCC) of brokerages affiliated with ERA during the quarter.
In the first six months of 2001, ERA posted $51.9 million in GCC sales, up from $21.7 million in the same period the previous year. Much of the 2001 increase was driven by a new ERA single quarter franchise sales record of $31.4 million, a 202 percent increase over first quarter 2000.
The second quarter of 2001 showed similar strength with sales of $20.5 million in GCC, a 79 percent increase over the $11.5 million posted in second quarter 2000.

- ERA Grand Central Realty, Brea, CA, ($1.1 million)
